Viral Hot Honey Bowl

Spicy and Sweet: The Viral TikTok Bowl You Need to Try!

There’s something about TikTok food trends that just pulls you in, right? One scroll and suddenly you're craving a bowl of something sweet, spicy, and creamy, enter: the viral hot honey bowl.

Like all the best internet-famous recipes, this one is surprisingly simple but hits all the right notes: sweet roasted sweet potato, creamy cottage cheese, buttery avocado, and a generous drizzle of hot honey. It’s indulgent without being heavy, packed with protein, fiber, and healthy fats - perfect as a lazy lunch, post-Pilates bite, or weeknight dinner when you can’t be bothered but still want something delish.

The best part? It’s meal-prep friendly. Roast your sweet potato and mince (or beef) ahead of time and keep them in the fridge. When you're ready to eat, just reheat, top with avocado, cottage cheese, and a drizzle of hot honey.

Now let’s talk about hot honey… if you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out. It’s sweet, spicy, and adds that little spark that takes the bowl from good to addictive. I love using Quinby’s Chilli Honey, but if you don’t have hot honey on hand, you can whip up a quick DIY: mix 1 tbsp honey with a few dashes of hot sauce or a pinch of chili flakes.

In my reel, I share my honest take - spoiler: I’m into it. But I do think it needs a little crunch. Try crumbling over crispy tortilla chips or tossing on some toasted, spiced pepitas for that extra texture. Trust me, it makes all the difference.

Give it a go - the recipe is below and it’s seriously one of those “how is this so good?” kind of meals.
